Vintage Cherry Grand Rapids Guild Certified Three Drawer Sideboard Buffet. This piece was constructed of solid cherry in the Empire style with three drawers and two concealed cabinets. The drawers to the left and right are squared and the left is a silver drawer that has dividers on a topaz colored felt.
The right was also a silver drawer but both the felt and the dividers have been removed. The central drawer is a Demilune shape and bears the aforementioned certification tag.
The sideboard stands on a pair of concealed cabinets. Each cabinet is made to look like a solid part of the piece, with a hand pull set on the inside edge.
They are lined in semi-relief barley-twist moldings and open to a recessed storage space. Both sides are made to have one small shelf - the left hand side has the shelf rests, but is missing the actual shelf. The aged brass fixtures are designed to look like stylized daises. The piece is in overall good shape, with some signs of wear on the Demilune arch of the top surface and on the bottom edges of the cabinets. There are also the missing pieces mentioned above.
The sideboard measures 37" high, 60" wide, and 19 1/2 deep at its broadest point. Lease consult images, and message with any questions.
